01.09.2011INTECUS in involved in the Consortium of Experts for Integrated Collection of Recycable MaterialsINTECUS is partner of the Consortium of Experts for Integrated Collection of Recycable Materials. The consortium offers to clients an objective and independent consultation for the implementation of a separate collection of recyclable materials. Scientifically and legally secured, the whole decision-making process will be accompanied and the implementation will be supported by specific projects. The consortium of experts offers its services to both, municipal decision-makers as well as private waste management companies.
20.07.2011INTECUS is active increasingly in the working fields of resources and renewablesINTECUS is charged with two studies in the fields of resources and renewables. The German Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources charged INTECUS with the study „Demand for Raw Materials for Renewables Technologies“. By order of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Saxony-Anhalt INTECUS will prepare the “Study on Biomass-Potentials of Saxony-Anhalt – Biodegradable Materials and Waste in selected economic branches”. With these interesting orders INTECUS is strengthen its profile within in this future-oriented working fields.
15.07.2011Prof. Bilitewski elected chairman of AGRAPA Recovered Paper CouncilOn July 14th, 2011 Prof. Bernd Bilitewski was elected chairman of the Recovered Paper Council of the Consortium Graphic Papers (AGRAPA). The Recovered Paper Council monitors the compliance with AGRAPA's self-commitment of graphic paper recovery, prepares an annual monitoring-report to the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) and works as open discussion forum of all AGRAPA-associations with represetatives of politics and administration.

03.07.2011INTECUS updated ReTech-Country -ProfilesINTECUS was commissioned by the Federal Ministry of Environment to revise, update respectively to create country-specific waste management datasheets for the Czech Republic, Marocco, Poland, Romania, the Russian Federation, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates. These datasheets are now online and can be used for information.
30.03.2011INTECUS intensified existing contacts to VietnamOn March 30th, 2011 the managing director of INTECUS, Mr. Joerg Wagner, in his capacity as chairman of SAXUTEC e.V. signed a declaration of intent together with the Saigon University, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry as well as the municipal waste disposal company of Ho Chi Minh City CITENCO on the development off joint projects in the field of waste management and environmental training and education. The signing ceremony during a reception by the German Consul General, Mr. Conrad Cappell, on March 30th, 2010 in the presence of Saxony’s Prime Minister Stanislaw Tillich formally terminated the work of the partners in a workshop-project funded by the International Bureau of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
